FAQs

  • Yes, we are a Florida nonprofit corporation that has received 501(c)(3) status from the Internal Revenue Service. This means your donations are tax-deductible if you qualify.

  • Journey to Esquire’s mission is to create lawyers you lead, mentor, and inspire, one student at a time. We help diverse law students (BIPOC. LGBTQ+, disabled and differently-abled, first-generation, immigrant, among other characteristics) navigate the journey to esquire by providing emotional and financial support.

  • Primarily, your donation will go to the JTE Scholarship Fund. We also use some donations for operational costs. Journey to Esquire® programs are entirely volunteer-run, and we pay for our technological services and digital products— like this website!

As our program grows, we also continue to hire part-time and full-time staff to manage accounting and paperwork, lead marketing and promotional efforts, and continue to deliver excellent service to our students and supporters.

  • It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
